Our Haus

Der Johanneshof ist ein Familienbetrieb, erbaut 1604 und im Jahr 2005 komplett renoviert. im Zentrum vom Lecher Ortsteil Stubenbach. Restaurant und Ortsbus Haltestelle direkt gegenüber (20“ Takt, 10“ zu den Hauptzeiten). Ca. 5 min Fahrzeit direkt ins Lecher Ortszentrum zu den Liftanlagen und zur Skischule.

Johanneshof is a family operated holiday rental, it was built 1604 and renovated in 2005. in the centre of the district of Lecher Stubenbach. Local restaurant and bus stop directly opposite. 5 minutes to the town centre of Lech and to the lifts and ski school.

All of the apartments have modern, tasteful bathroooms, comfortable beds (the sofa beds are the same quality mattresses as the regular beds) and all the mod cons that you’d expect in the kitchen. Each apartment comes with a parking space, if you’d like to leave your car in the heated car park in Lech

We want you to feel at home and we’re offering a number of additional services to help make your stay even more perfect:

  • Fresh bread from the local bakery delivered each morning – just let us know at the beginning of the week what your preferences are – I love the minifinshca which is a dark, moist bread with a delicious caraway and nutty flavour.
  • Shopping service. Why waste valuable holiday time and energy going round the supermarket, when we can do it for you, simply send us a list of your requirements, allowing us a little leeway, and when you arrive your fridge and larder will be stocked for your holiday.

    Der Johanneshof wurde im Jahr 1604 erbaut und ist eines der ältesten Häuser in Stubenbach, Lech.

    Haus Johanneshof built in 1604 is one of the oldest houses in Stubenbach, Lech. Not that you’d know, light and airy with a fabulous position and great views looking over the Lech valley and river.

    im Zentrum vom Lecher Ortsteil Stubenbach.Restaurant und Ortsbus Haltestelle direkt gegenüber (20“ Takt). Ca. 5 min Fahrzeit direkt ins Lecher Ortszentrum zu denLiftanlagen und zur Skischule.

    Stubenbach adjoins Lech, it’s connected by a free bus which runs every 20 mins, takes just a few minutes, and to be honest, it’s actually a lot more convenient than a lot of locations in Lech, you step out of the ski room to the bus and can get off at the Schlosskopf, Schleglkopf or Rufikopf lifts or the gondela to Oberlech, you have absolutely no distance to walk – unless you want to. It really makes the logistics of skiing, particularly with kids, a walk in the park.

    However, if you choose to walk (preferably without ski boots on) in 30 mins you can be in the centre of Lech enjoying a little tipple on the balcony of Lech’s famous Strolz department store – life doesn’t get better.

    Surrounding

    As we’re surrounded by countryside, there are a number of walking paths mowed into the snow around Stubenbach, it’s under the treeline and simply stunning, it’s lovely to feel close to nature and away from the crowds. If you like we can even order you raw milk and organic beef from the farmer opposite.

    You needn’t worry the kids can play safely outside, in what’s the horse paddock during the summer, next to the house.

    As well being a 10 second walk to the bus stop it’s the same distance to the local bar/restaurant, where you can experience traditional Austrian cooking either in or out, as we’ve arranged for them to deliver to your apartment so that can enjoy good food in the comfort of your own space, Kase spatzle is my favourite comfort food after a hard day on the piste.

    How to get there?

    Auto

    Autobahnen in Österreich sind mautpflichtig. Vignetten erhalten Sie an den Grenzübergängen, bei Tankstellen, Postämtern, Trafiken, bei Ihrem Automobilclub und bei der Lech Zürs Tourismus.
    Bitte beachten Sie bei Ihrer Anreise, dass die Strecke Lech - Warth während den Wintermonaten aufgrund von Lawinengefahrt gesperrt ist.
    Von einer Anreise über das Lechtal oder den Bregenzerwald ist daher abzuraten!
    Wir empfehlen speziell für die Samstage während der Hauptsaison – Ihre Anreise so zu wählen, dass die Streckenabschnitte Feldkirch-Lech bzw. Imst-Lech vor 9.30 und nach 14.00 Uhr benützt werden. Bei der Rückreise ist die Zeit zwischen 10.30 und 15.00 Uhr „stauanfällig“. Für aktuelle Informationen zum Straßenzustand (Kettenpflicht, Sperren, usw.) wählen Sie bitte +43 810 966 150.

    Bahnstation Langen am Arlberg: 17 km, regelmäßige Taxi-und Busverbindung - Reservierung unter www.taxi-lech.at oder www.taxi-zuers.com. Zugauskünfte und Reservierungen tätigen Sie am besten online unter www.oebb.at
    Von Österreich, Deutschland und der Schweiz bestehen gute Bahnverbindungen zum Arlberg – auch von den beiden Flughäfen Zürich und Innsbruck. Autofahrern empfehlen wir – speziell für die Samstage während der Hauptsaison – Ihre Anreise so zu wählen, dass die Streckenabschnitte Feldkirch- Lech bzw. Imst-Lech vor 9.30 und nach 14.00 Uhr benützt werden. Bei der Rückreise ist die Zeit zwischen 10.30 und 15.00 Uhr „stauanfällig“.
